Lakota Robotics, located at the Paul George STEM Center, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated entirely by dedicated volunteers with no paid staff.
Our programs thrive because of the generosity of individuals and companies who believe in our mission. Your support helps fund every robot we build, every competition we attend, and every student we mentor. Thanks to supporters like you, we continue to provide hands-on STEM experiences at no cost to students, inspiring creativity, leadership, teamwork, and confidence.
Each year, our programs impact more than 100 students through FREE FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and FIRST LEGO League (FLL) opportunities.
Our 2026 fundraising campaign will help fund a fiber laser and critical facility upgrades, allowing us to expand hands-on learning opportunities and provide students with access to more advanced manufacturing technology and real-world engineering experiences.

In 2025, UCBMA selected Lakota Robotics as the beneficiary of its annual rally, generously donating $14,000 in event proceeds to support our students’ STEM education and community outreach initiatives.
Lakota Robotics is deeply dedicated to community outreach – helping Girl Scouts earn their STEM badges, teaching robotics workshops at the Boys & Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty, mentoring elementary school LEGO® robotics teams, and holding demos at community events. The organization is 100% volunteer run with no paid staff, so the proceeds from this year’s food Truck Rally will go a long way in helping them achieve their goals! -UCBMA
